शुचौ देशे प्रतिष्ठाप्य स्थिरमासनमात्मनः। नात्युच्छ्रितं नातिनीचं चैलाजिनकुशोत्तरम्।।6.11।।

Simplified Perspective

The Lord now guides us into the sacred geometry of meditation—not through elaborate ritual, but through simplicity and balance. A clean space, a steady seat neither too high nor too low, cloth and deerskin layered with intention—these are not mere physical arrangements, but the outer expression of an inner readiness to receive.

When you sit to meditate, you are telling the universe: I am here, grounded, neither inflated with ego nor collapsed in doubt, ready to listen. This verse teaches us that the container matters, not because God demands luxury, but because your nervous system, your body-mind, deserves respect as the temple where awareness will awaken.
