Setting a Sankalpa
In Vedic practice, a sankalpa (sacred intention) transforms mantra chanting from repetition into creation. Before beginning any mantra session, state your goal clearly, in the present tense, as if already achieved. The mantra then carries this intention into the vibrational field.
Example Sankalpa
"I am healthy, abundant, and at peace. Every chant I offer strengthens this truth in my body and life."
State your sankalpa once before beginning, and once after completing your japa.
