Transliteration
na tvevāhaṁ jātu nāsaṁ na tvaṁ neme janādhipāḥ na chaiva na bhaviṣhyāmaḥ sarve vayamataḥ param
Word by Word
Krishna speaks the eternal truth that transcends time itself: the Self was never born and shall never die. This verse cuts through the illusion of temporal existence—you, I, these kings, all of us are expressions of the imperishable Atman that stands beyond all becoming and dissolution.
When you recognize that your deepest nature is timeless and deathless, fear loses its grip, and you can act with the freedom of one who has nothing to lose and everything to discover.
