Word by Word
When you act without attachment to outcomes, performing your duty as duty itself—not for praise, reward, or personal gain—you touch the highest form of renunciation. This is not the renunciation of action, but the renunciation of the ego's claim on results.
In our modern chase for success and recognition, this verse invites you to return to the sacred simplicity of doing what is yours to do, then releasing it entirely to the cosmic intelligence.
