Simplified Perspective

The Supreme Being animates all our senses—ears, eyes, touch, taste, smell—and through the coordinating mind, we experience the entire sensory world. This verse reveals that consciousness itself is the indwelling witness of all perception; the senses are merely instruments through which the eternal Self explores creation.

When you observe your own sensory experience without being swept away by desire, you begin to recognize the silent awareness that perceives all—this is the first step toward liberation from bondage to the world.
