Simplified Perspective

Krishna reveals the cosmic tree of existence—rooted in the unmanifest Brahman above, its branches spreading downward through the three gunas into the world of senses and desires. Our actions bind us to this tree, creating the endless cycle of becoming.

Yet knowing this tree's true nature—that it is temporary, dependent, and sustained by the eternal Self—becomes the first step toward liberation, for we begin to recognize ourselves as the unchanging witness rather than the entangled branch.
