Simplified Perspective

In this verse, Sri Krishna reveals the terrible magnificence of the Divine Form — the heroes and kings of the world rush toward His mouths like rivers flowing inevitably to the ocean, consumed by the fire of transformation. This is not punishment but the cosmic law itself: all individual power and ego ultimately dissolve into the Infinite.

When we truly see that our small will is already part of God's will, resistance becomes impossible and grace becomes unavoidable.
