Simplified Perspective

Arjuna witnesses the cosmic devouring—the relentless destruction that underlies all creation, where even the mightiest warriors are consumed by Time itself. This is not cruelty but the immutable law of existence: all forms arise and dissolve in the eternal play of Brahman.

When we truly see this vision, our resistance to change dissolves, and we find freedom not by escaping death, but by recognizing that the Self within us was never born and can never die. In modern life, this teaches us to release our grip on permanence—our possessions, our status, our very identities—and to act with full commitment while holding lightly to outcomes.
