Simplified Perspective

Sanjaya directs Dhritarashtra's inner vision toward the assembled armies, yet this moment reveals a deeper truth: we stand always at the threshold between two worlds—the world of our attachments and the world of our dharma. The armies before us are not merely soldiers, but the forces within our own consciousness—some aligned with truth, others with delusion.

When we truly see what stands before us without the veil of denial, we begin the spiritual journey that transforms fear into wisdom. In our modern lives, this seeing—honest acknowledgment of our circumstances without minimization or overwhelm—becomes the first step toward purposeful action.
