न मां दुष्कृतिनो मूढाः प्रपद्यन्ते नराधमाः। माययापहृतज्ञाना आसुरं भावमाश्रिताः।।7.15।।

Transliteration

na māṁ duṣhkṛitino mūḍhāḥ prapadyante narādhamāḥ māyayāpahṛita-jñānā āsuraṁ bhāvam āśhritāḥ

Simplified Perspective

Krishna speaks a truth that pierces through illusion: those who remain trapped in cycles of harmful action and spiritual ignorance cannot genuinely turn toward the Divine. Their intellects are veiled by maya, the illusory power that makes the temporary seem permanent and the false seem true.

Yet this is not judgment—it is an invitation to recognize where delusion holds us, so we might choose differently. When you notice yourself caught in patterns that diminish your spirit, pause and ask: Am I surrendering to my lower nature, or to my highest Self?
