Simplified Perspective

The Lord reveals here a profound truth: the entire visible universe dances in the play of three gunas—sattva, rajas, and tamas—yet He remains forever beyond their influence, untouched and imperishable. Most beings, mesmerized by this cosmic illusion, mistake the changing play of qualities for ultimate reality and fail to recognize the eternal consciousness that witnesses all.

When you observe your own mind—its restlessness, its attachments, its patterns of clarity and confusion—you are watching the gunas at work; freedom begins the moment you realize you are the unchanging awareness observing this dance, not a performer trapped within it.
