Simplified Perspective

Krishna reveals the hierarchy of consciousness itself: the intellect is mighty, but the soul—the witnessing self—stands forever beyond it. By establishing yourself in this higher awareness, you become the master of desire rather than its slave.

When you know yourself as the eternal witness, not the mind's servant, the formidable enemy of craving loses its grip on you. This is the secret: stop fighting desire from within desire's realm, and instead anchor yourself in the unchanging ground of being that desire cannot touch.
