Bhagavad Gita 2.57
Sanskrit
यः सर्वत्रानभिस्नेहस्तत्तत्प्राप्य शुभाशुभम्। नाभिनन्दति न द्वेष्टि तस्य प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठिता।।2.57।।

Word by Word
When the sage stands unshaken before the full spectrum of life—prosperity and loss, praise and blame, success and failure—wisdom itself becomes established in that ground of equipoise. This is not cold indifference, but the burning clarity of one who has seen through the illusion of duality.
For the modern seeker caught in the exhausting pendulum of desire and aversion, this verse offers a radical invitation: what if your peace did not depend on outcomes, but on the quality of consciousness you bring to them?
