Chapter 2 · Verse 46 · Sankhya Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 2.46
Sanskrit
Transliteration
yāvān artha udapāne sarvataḥ samplutodake tāvānsarveṣhu vedeṣhu brāhmaṇasya vijānataḥ
Word by Word
When a vast lake surrounds you, the small well becomes meaningless—its water is already everywhere. So too, when the Self is fully realized, all the Vedas and their scriptures dissolve into that one Truth you have become.
The awakened soul sees that knowledge itself was always One, wearing many names and forms. In your daily life, this teaches you to stop collecting information and start embodying the wisdom already alive within you.
