Simplified Perspective

The Supreme Self dwells equally in all beings, yet only those whose consciousness has been purified through disciplined yoga practice can recognize this truth. The unpurified mind, clouded by conditioning and sensory attachment, remains blind to the Self's presence even when it strives.

This verse reveals that spiritual sight is not given — it is earned through the patient work of turning the mind inward, away from the world's glittering distractions. Begin today by sitting quietly for just ten minutes, observing your thoughts without judgment, and you join the lineage of yogis who have glimpsed the eternal within.
