Simplified Perspective

Tamas is the veil of ignorance that obscures your true nature—not as punishment, but as the natural consequence of turning away from light. It binds through negligence, laziness, and sleep, the three gates through which the soul forgets itself.

When you notice yourself caught in procrastination, heaviness, or the fog of distraction, you are meeting tamas directly—and that very recognition is the first crack in its hold.
