Simplified Perspective

This verse describes the mark of one who has transcended the three gunas—the person who remains unmoved by pleasure and pain, who sees a clod of earth, a stone, and gold with equal indifference. This is not coldness or numbness, but the flowering of true wisdom: when the eye of the soul opens, all external valuations collapse.

For us today, this means practicing the art of non-reactivity—noticing when you cling to praise or shrivel under blame, and gently returning to the stillness within that witnesses all of it.
