न तु मां शक्यसे द्रष्टुमनेनैव स्वचक्षुषा। दिव्यं ददामि ते चक्षुः पश्य मे योगमैश्वरम्।।11.8।।
Transliteration
na tu māṁ śhakyase draṣhṭum anenaiva sva-chakṣhuṣhā divyaṁ dadāmi te chakṣhuḥ paśhya me yogam aiśhwaram
Word by Word
Krishna reveals the fundamental limitation of human perception—our ordinary eyes cannot perceive the infinite Divine, bound as they are by the conditioning of matter and sense. Yet in His supreme compassion, the Lord grants Arjuna a divine eye, a transformed faculty of consciousness that transcends the veil of ignorance and reveals the majestic reality of His cosmic form.
This is not a gift of physics but of grace: when our inner vision awakens through devotion and surrender, we see beyond the illusion of separation and behold the One consciousness pervading all existence. Today, when we feel trapped by our limited perspectives and doubts, we too are invited to seek this divine vision—not through striving, but through opening our hearts to the truth that already surrounds us.
