Bhagavad Gita 11.52
Sanskrit
श्री भगवानुवाच सुदुर्दर्शमिदं रूपं दृष्टवानसि यन्मम। देवा अप्यस्य रूपस्य नित्यं दर्शनकाङ्क्षिणः।।11.52।।
Transliteration
śhrī-bhagavān uvācha su-durdarśham idaṁ rūpaṁ dṛiṣhṭavān asi yan mama devā apy asya rūpasya nityaṁ darśhana-kāṅkṣhiṇaḥ
Word by Word
Krishna reveals the supreme paradox: the very form Arjuna beholds is so transcendent that even the celestial gods eternally yearn for this glimpse—yet it has appeared before mortal eyes through grace alone. This is not a form you earned through merit, but one bestowed through devotion's opening.
When you encounter the Divine in any moment—in silence, in service, in another's eyes—remember that you are receiving what even the gods themselves aspire toward, and this recognition transforms gratitude from sentiment into lived truth.
