Simplified Perspective

Arjuna stands before the cosmic form of Krishna, suddenly aware of every casual disrespect—every jest, every thoughtless moment of familiarity. In this verse, he dissolves the illusion that intimacy permits carelessness; true devotion means honoring the infinite even in the ordinary.

The infallible One dwells equally in play and in the sacred assembly, and our consciousness must recognize this without exception. When we cease taking the Divine presence for granted—in work, in rest, in conversation—we transform ordinary moments into acts of genuine reverence.
