tvam ādi-devaḥ puruṣhaḥ purāṇas tvam asya viśhvasya paraṁ nidhānam vettāsi vedyaṁ cha paraṁ cha dhāma tvayā tataṁ viśhvam ananta-rūpa
Word by Word
Arjuna beholds the truth that Krishna is not merely a teacher or guide, but the primordial consciousness from which all existence flows—the knower, the known, and the ground of all knowing itself. He is the eternal substratum upon which the entire cosmos rests and moves.
This recognition dissolves the boundary between worshipper and worshipped, revealing that the infinite Divine simultaneously knows you, is known by you, and dwells as the sanctuary within your own heart. When you touch this understanding in meditation or in moments of grace, the separate self dissolves into the luminous truth of oneness.
