त्वमक्षरं परमं वेदितव्यं त्वमस्य विश्वस्य परं निधानम्। त्वमव्ययः शाश्वतधर्मगोप्ता सनातनस्त्वं पुरुषो मतो मे।।11.18।।
Transliteration
tvam akṣharaṁ paramaṁ veditavyaṁ tvam asya viśhvasya paraṁ nidhānam tvam avyayaḥ śhāśhvata-dharma-goptā sanātanas tvaṁ puruṣho mato me
Word by Word
Arjuna has moved from fear to recognition—he sees in Krishna not merely a divine form, but the very ground of existence itself, the imperishable reality that holds all creation in its embrace. The Vedantic truth crystallizes here: that which is beyond decay, beyond time, beyond all change is the only thing truly worth knowing.
When we release our grip on the transient and turn our gaze inward to the eternal Self that Krishna embodies, we discover the unshakeable foundation that has always supported our deepest life.
