Sanskrit
प्रह्लादश्चास्मि दैत्यानां कालः कलयतामहम्। मृगाणां च मृगेन्द्रोऽहं वैनतेयश्च पक्षिणाम्।।10.30।।
Transliteration
prahlādaśh chāsmi daityānāṁ kālaḥ kalayatām aham mṛigāṇāṁ cha mṛigendro ’haṁ vainateyaśh cha pakṣhiṇām
Word by Word
Krishna reveals himself as Prahlad among demons—the devotee whose unwavering faith transforms darkness into light—and as Time itself, the force that dissolves all illusions of control. He is the lion among beasts and Garuda among birds, the supreme principle manifest in every hierarchy of existence.
When you recognize the divine in both the most exalted and seemingly humble, you stop fragmenting reality into sacred and profane, and begin seeing the One consciousness flowing through all.
