swayam evātmanātmānaṁ vettha tvaṁ puruṣhottama bhūta-bhāvana bhūteśha deva-deva jagat-pate

Word by Word

swayam yourself
eva indeed
ātmanā by yourself
ātmānam yourself
vettha know
tvam you
puruṣha-uttama the Supreme Personality
bhūta-bhāvana the Creator of all beings
bhūta-īśha the Lord of everything
deva-deva the God of gods
jagat-pate the Lord of the universe
Simplified Perspective

In this radiant moment, Arjuna recognizes what has always been true: Krishna is not distant from creation but intimately woven through it, known only to himself in his infinite fullness. The Lord needs no external validation—he simply *is* the source, sustainer, and dissolving power of all existence.

When we stop seeking proof of the divine and instead rest in the mystery of consciousness itself, we touch the same self-knowing awareness that moves through all beings.
