Simplified Perspective

Arjuna now speaks of the assembled warriors—many great heroes willing to die for his cause, armed with countless weapons and skilled in battle. Yet notice the shift: he lists their prowess not with pride, but with a subtle undertone of despair, for these very strengths heighten his inner conflict about fighting them.

The spiritual truth hidden here is that external power and skill mean nothing when the heart is divided; true strength flows only from clarity of purpose and alignment with dharma, not from weapons or numbers.
