Bhagavad Gita 1.43
Sanskrit
Transliteration
doṣhair etaiḥ kula-ghnānāṁ varṇa-saṅkara-kārakaiḥ utsādyante jāti-dharmāḥ kula-dharmāśh cha śhāśhvatāḥ
Word by Word
Arjuna is sounding the depths of his own despair, naming the poison that spreads when dharma collapses—when right action gives way to confusion and ancestral wisdom crumbles. The Gita does not dismiss this fear; it honors it as a genuine recognition of what is at stake.
Yet in speaking this darkness aloud, Arjuna unwittingly invites us to see that naming the wound is the first step toward healing it, and that the very intensity of his concern shows a heart still capable of dharmic transformation.
