अव्यक्तं व्यक्ितमापन्नं मन्यन्ते मामबुद्धयः। परं भावमजानन्तो ममाव्ययमनुत्तमम्।।7.24।।
Transliteration
avyaktaṁ vyaktim āpannaṁ manyante mām abuddhayaḥ paraṁ bhāvam ajānanto mamāvyayam anuttamam
In plain words
You are looking for God in the wrong place—in outcomes, in other people's love, in your circumstances finally working out. Krishna says: the Divine is not hiding in what you can see or grasp; it's the awareness that's *looking* through your eyes right now. Stop mistaking the form of your life for the formless presence that animates it, and the panic loosens.
Word by Word
The unmanifest Divine assumes form in this world, yet the ignorant mistake the vessel for the infinite ocean within. They cannot fathom Krishna's imperishable nature—the supreme reality that transcends all visible creation.
When you encounter the Divine through any form—in a teacher, a temple, or your own awakened heart—remember you are touching the formless boundless consciousness wearing the garment of appearance. This discernment between form and formless liberates you from idolatry of the external alone.
