Simplified Perspective

When the mind ceases to chase sense-pleasures and the heart releases its grip on the fruits of action, something miraculous awakens—this is the threshold of true Yoga. The Gita calls this state yoga-ārūḍhaḥ, one established in Yoga, where all desires have been offered back to the Divine.

In our restless modern lives, this verse invites us to notice where we are still grasping, still performing for approval, still bargaining with outcomes—and to practice releasing even one desire today, trusting that freedom lives on the other side.
