Simplified Perspective

Even one who listens with faith and without envy to this eternal wisdom becomes liberated—not through superhuman effort, but through the grace that flows from sincere receptivity. The Gita teaches us that liberation is not earned by the proud or the cynical, but freely given to those who open their hearts to truth.

In our modern age of constant skepticism and comparison, this verse invites us to listen to wisdom—whether from scripture, teachers, or life itself—with genuine reverence and freedom from the poison of envy.
