यज्ञे तपसि दाने च स्थितिः सदिति चोच्यते।कर्म चैव तदर्थीयं सदित्येवाभिधीयते।।17.27।।

yajñe tapasi dāne cha sthitiḥ sad iti chochyate karma chaiva tad-arthīyaṁ sad ity evābhidhīyate

When you're exhausted from giving—to a spouse, a parent, a child, a debt you can't recover—you're wondering if any of it matters or if you're just pouring yourself into a void. Krishna says: the act itself, done with integrity and love, is already sacred and complete, whether or not you see the result you wanted. Your faithfulness in showing up, your discipline in staying present, your generosity even when you're afraid—these are not wasted. They are the eternal work that holds the world together.
