Chapter 16 · Verse 7 · Daivasura Sampad Vibhaga Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 16.7
Sanskrit
Transliteration
Word by Word
The demoniac nature cannot discern between rightful action and harmful action because it has severed itself from the light of inner truth. Without purity of heart, ethical conduct, and devotion to truth, the soul wanders in confusion—mistaking destruction for progress and chaos for freedom.
When we examine our own choices honestly, we discover whether we're building a life aligned with dharma or whether pride and disconnection have clouded our discernment. The remedy is always available: turn toward truth, tend to your inner purity, and let your actions flow from genuine care rather than ego's demand.
