अहिंसा समता तुष्टिस्तपो दानं यशोऽयशः। भवन्ति भावा भूतानां मत्त एव पृथग्विधाः।।10.5।।

Transliteration

ahiṁsā samatā tuṣṭis tapo dānaṁ yaśo 'yaśaḥ bhavanti bhāvā bhūtānāṁ matta eva pṛthag-vidhāḥ

Simplified Perspective

Krishna reveals here that all the qualities we observe in creation—from gentleness to ambition, from contentment to restlessness—flow directly from His being as the ground of all existence. These are not random traits scattered through the world, but divine expressions organized by His will.

When you recognize that even your capacity for nonviolence or your struggle with ego originates in the Divine, you stop judging yourself and others as separate from that sacred source, and instead begin to see every quality as an opportunity to align with your highest nature.
