Chapter 10 · Verse 12 · Vibhooti Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 10.12
Sanskrit
अर्जुन उवाच परं ब्रह्म परं धाम पवित्रं परमं भवान्। पुरुषं शाश्वतं दिव्यमादिदेवमजं विभुम्।।10.12।।
Transliteration
arjuna uvācha paraṁ brahma paraṁ dhāma pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān puruṣhaṁ śhāśhvataṁ divyam ādi-devam ajaṁ vibhum
Word by Word
Arjuna's recognition here is the turning point of his entire spiritual awakening—he names Krishna not as a warrior-prince companion, but as the Supreme Brahman itself, the eternal source beyond all creation, the immaculate one who alone can purify the contaminated soul. This is not intellectual flattery but direct revelation: when the veil of ignorance lifts, we see that the Godhead we seek is already present, intimate, closer than breath.
In your own life, this shift happens when you stop searching *for* the divine in distant temples or scriptures and recognize the eternal presence already dwelling in your own deepest being.
