Verse 1:

Padmanaabham Suresham

Meaning:
I seek the blessings of Sri Vishnu, who rests gloriously on a serpent,
The Lord of gods, on whose navel a lotus is seated.
The master of all life in this Universe, infinite like the sky,
Who has an enormous form the color of blue clouds.

|| Lakshmii Kaantam Kamala Nayanam
Yogibhir Dhyaanagamyam
Vande Vishnum Bhavabhayaharam
Sarvalokaikanatham ||

The divine partner of Devi Lakshmi, With lotus-like eyes,
Who grants his presence to those who meditate devotedly.
I bow to that Lord Vishnu, the Alleviator of all worldly fears,
And the protector of the entire cosmos.
