I surrender to Lord Ganesha, the one who is revered and worshipped by all created beings,
To the auspicious divine being, who relishes the fruits of Kapittha and Jambu. Kapittha is 'wood apple', and Jambu is 'rose apple'.
To the son of Uma (Parvati), the other half of Shiva, the one who removes all sorrows and perils,
Bless me, oh One who alleviates all obstacles, as I humbly bow at your lotus feet.
